The Support Network and CMHA-ER's Move 4 Mental Health
Mental health is critical to our individual, family and community wellbeing. The Support Network has partnered with the Canadian Mental Health Association - Edmonton Region (CMHA-ER) this year to have a celebration in honour of Clara’s Big Ride! You are invited to join us!
NOW is the time to “put a mega phone on the issue of mental health” says Clara Hughes. 6-time medal winning Olympian and #BellLetsTalk spokesperson has chosen her goal to cycle 12,000 km around Canada to support and raise awareness for mental health. Join The Support Network and CMHA-ER's inaugural Move 4 Mental Health campaign in celebration of Clara’s Big Ride.
On June 1, 2014 Clara will arrive in Edmonton and you can join the celebration! For every $1,200 you raise you will receive two FREE tickets to hear Clara speak at our evening celebration on June 1, 2014.
To raise funds you can choose your personal activity and fundraising goal (eg: you fundraise $1,200 by completing a half-marathon OR cycle 6,000km OR walk the length of the Anthony Henday Ring Road).
You may donate individually by clicking on "Donate To The Campaign" or donate as a Group/Team by clicking on "See How A Giving Group Can Support This Campaign".
All proceeds from the #m4mh14 campaign will be used by our services to help you and others learn about mental health and reach out to someone you may be worried about.
Start NOW and finish your #m4mh14 campaign by Clara Hughes' arrival in Edmonton on June 1, 2014.
