All activities fall under three themes of: Connecting People with Nature; Building Sustainable Community; and Safeguarding Habitat, Biodiversity and Wilderness Values. Continued engagement in events, community committees and working groups on issues including Human-Bear Conflict Mitigation, Transportation, Forest and Wildlands. Oversight of community garden program. Zero waste programs with events, businesses and accomodation properties. Ongoing public education events targeted on various local environmental conditions and challenges. Continued focus on knowledge sharing through providing information and materials from all projects / programs on our website. Straw Wars Whistler - working with local restaurants to eliminate straws. Whistler Nature Camp - connecting kids with nature.
