The Abilities Centre enhances the quality of life and citizenship for people of all ages and abilities by providing inclusive programs and service of the highest quality and value. We give people the power to achieve their goals through sports, arts, life-skills programs and research and provide a welcoming, positive, energized environment in a state-of-art facility. programs include: fitness facility - providing fully inclusive facility for all people with a variety of fitness and wellness programs Thrive - The Thrive program offered at the Abilities Centre is designed to meet the needs of adults with disabilities aged 21 and over, who are no longer eligible to receive services from the secondary school system. Employment works - It is a 14-week employment preparedness training program for young adults ages 15 to 29 who are no longer attending school and are seeking opportunities to develop the skills necessary to obtain meaningful and sustainable employment. Adult Social Club TIME - is a community - based exercise program for people with a range of neuromuscular conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis or acquired brain injury. Our maintenance programs include Respiratory Maintenance, Cardiac Maintenance and TIME (Together in Movement and Exercise) Fieldtrips - for school aged children Summer Camps- with a variety of activities for school aged children
