Alberta Conservation Association
The Alberta Conservation Association carried out four broad based programs during the fiscal year. These were the Fisheries Program, Wildlife Program, Land Management Program and Report A Poacher/Compensation Program. Our resource programs focus mainly on management and enhancement activities. All program activities are delivered by utilizing resources within Alberta Conservation Association, such as staff, equipment and materials. The Association also funded other organizations and research using the Challenge Grant Program within the University of Alberta and the Conservation and community Grant Fund internally. These grants were awarded to qualified organizations and individuals to carry out specific activities that are identified as a priority in the organizations' Strategic Business Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
