1) We provide continual arms-leangth arts leadership on behalf of the City of Lethbridge. 2) We promote the arts in Lethbridge through advertising social media, websites, publications (Arts Directory and Artsbridge Magazine),e-newsletters (Arts Lethbridge and Casa Connect) as well as an annual Christmas sale at Casa and Family Fun Day. 3) We coordinate free, philanthropic, and educational community events such as Arts Days, Mayor's Luncheon for Business & the Arts and the Soar Emerging Artist Festival 4) We take advantage of community outreach opportunities including participation in the Word on the Street Festival. 5) We provide opportunities for our members including a table at the Farmer's Market and a display case at the Lethbridge Public Library as well as opportunities to display art in number of business in Lethbridge. 6) We manage the Casa arts centre, providing facility rentals, studio space and our education programs. 7) We offer educational programs for children, teens, & adults as well as affordable art classes for Housing First clients, adults with special needs, low income families and home school programs. In addition, we offer birthday party and private workshops. 8) We deliver the Casa gallery exhibition programming. 9) We administer a Casa Artist in Residence and a First Nation Artist in Residence Program. In 2017, the Allied Arts Council had 58 volunteers to help us with our events and programming. They donated 1155 hours of their time.
