Boost is a creative community response to child abuse investigations. A partnership among local community and government agencies, it brings together all professionals involved in child abuse cases under one roof, for a coordinated, interdisciplinary response to child abuse victims in Toronto. Programs include Prevention & Education, Advocacy, Assessment-Directed Therapy, Internet Child Exploitation Counselling Referral, Child Victim Witness Support and Coordination. Boost is also working with the Human Trafficking Enforcement Team of Toronto Police Services to develop a best practice model and the Nishnawbe Aski Nation to develop a culturally competent adaptation of our prevention programs.
