Funds raised by the Canadian Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (CFIPO) will help the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO) initiate and strengthen programs, as well as to maintain its high standard of musical excellenece without placing a financial burden on the IPO's budget or compromising its long term stability. In its 2016-2017 season, the IPO performed 144 concerts with a total attendance of 256,603 in Isreal. The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra also toured North America in October 2017, with a ten concerts in seven cities and total audience of 23,067.
