Vancouver Island Mental Health Society (VIMHS) is a non-profit charitable organization demonstrating excellence in psychosocial rehabilitation for adults with mental health and addictions concerns, and/or cognitive challenges. We engage communities through programs that promote recovery, social inclusion, safe housing, and public education. HOUSING We operate Gateway House, a 10 bed licensed residence which provides 24/7 support. We have 3 semi-independent residences housing a total of 18 people who require a moderate amount of support. We provide support for two independent living residences: Boundary Crescent (41 units), and Rosehill Apartments (4 units). Our COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM provides education to the larger community regarding mental illness, addictions and homelessness.
