LIFE Recovery Association is a multi-denominational,Christian organization focused on providing safe,clean,abstinence-based recovery environments for all women.All inclusive,it has a licensed 18-bed first stage house (24/7 staffing),a 5-bed second stage house,two 5-bed third stage homes.Length of stay varies from 3 months to 5 years,depending on the needs of the individualwoman.Programs include:1:1 & group counseling,in-home and community-based activities geared to addressing the cuase of the addiction(s),building coping a life skills for recovery.Program elements include the 12 steps (AA & N A),relapse prevention,boundaries,problem-solving,etc.This past year we expanded the program to include two further residences,bringing our total bed count to 33 beds.The association also operates "LIFE's Second Chance Thrift Store",which provides a great opportunity for these women to volunteer,gainwork experience & gradually reintegrate into society.The over 90 volunteershelp operate the store & generally support women through their recovery journey.
