PGSAR assists in locating & transporting lost/injured persons within Northern BC. PGSAR provided assistance to remove individuals from hazardous locations through technical rescue capabilities, located lost individuals, provided medical assistance, and assisted the coroner's office in recovering several deceased individuals. PGSAR also assists local RCMP in searching large crime scenes. PGSAR administers the adventuresmart program which educated children & youth on staying safe in the outdoors.
