Our major project, the cumulative costs of which are reflected on our balance sheet and are described as "Diaspora Project", continue to be our ongoing long-term in house project. This project entails the research of the history and the contributions of Ukrainian composers who over the past few centuries been forced to flee Ukraine for political reasons. Nevertheless they have become well-known composers and musicologists in their adopted lands. Our objective is to make their contributions, as Ukrainians, known to and appreciated by the Diaspora and beyond their adopted lands. The conclusion of this project will be the publication of a book. In addition we continue to fund one time projects in the nature of Ukrainian musicology that are promoted by other not-for-profit, charitable organizations in Alberta and Canada. These projects for example include a University of Alberta folklore project, the Luminous Voices and Spiritus choirs in Calgary, the Ukrainian Music Society of Alberta for various projects, Basilian House of Studies, Art song Projects, etc..
