Charities are sometimes registered under one name yet conduct business under another. Try searching Google for "" to find the name it's registered under.
The charity may not be registered in Canada. For now, gifts can only be sent to registered Canadian charities. What if I want to give to an organization that isn't listed?
Did you search for an event instead of a charity? For example, the "CIBC Run for the Cure" is an event that benefits the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. While you can't give to the event, you can give to the foundation.
