Covers For The Cause enables artists to engage with their fans, create content, and raised much-needed funding for music therapy programs in Canada. Artists can raise money for music therapy programs in their hometown, or the serve a specific population of care.
These videos help raise awareness for Music Heals and the power of music. Music therapy is almost entirely donor-funded in Canada, and sharing your video requests helps to amplify the message.
Donate $100 to Music Heals, make a request and l'll make a video of myself playing your favourite song. If you want to split the cost with a group of friends, family or co-workers, go ahead! If you have any questions, please email email@example.com .
My goal is to raise $1000, at which point I can direct the funds toward a specific music therapy program. I would like to contribute to music therapy programs at the WISH Drop-In Centre, which aims to improve the health, safety and well-being of women involved in Vancouver's street-based sex trade.
