How to Help

Here are several ways you can participate / help us in this effort …
1. Come and join one of our rides. They will end up at the Millwoods Rec centre where Clara will be arriving from her ride that day.
2. We would encourage you, whether you ride or not, to make a donation to Hillary's Team through this site. The donations will be forwarded on to The Support Network's Move 4 Mental Health.
3.You can also get involved by doing your own activity (walk 10,000 steps a day / swim laps / climb the stairs at work / etc.) and make a donation through Hillary's Team.

About the Organizers

The Support Network (TSN) has served the Edmonton community with crisis services since 1975. TSN envisions a future where it is “… a recognized leader for positive social change in the areas of suicide prevention, suicide bereavement, volunteer management and community resources.” Suicide Prevention is a cornerstone of the work of the Crisis Support Centre (a program of The Support Network). Grief support is the only service of its kind in Edmonton that specializes in grief after a suicide. Nancy McCalder, Executive Director is passionate about TSN being a place where anyone can reach to get support. She says TSN is “Here to listen when life hurts” and sometimes it hurts too much to bear it alone!

Canadian Mental Health Association - Edmonton Region (CMHA-ER) has a vision to have “Mentally healthy people in communities.” Edmonton strives to be one of those communities. Through education, supportive programming and housing CMHA-ER supports individuals and families where mental illness has impacted their lives. Ione Challborn, Executive Director is passionate about supporting especially those with severe and persistent mental illness.
