The Group's Purpose

We want to help our girls to grow as players and as young women, while helping the community. The girls have chosen to support the BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BC SPCA). Our goal is to raise $500 for that charity over the season while developing their soccer skills.

How to Help

We invite parents to reward our team when we achieve our developmental goals. The coaches will set certqain metrics for the team--making 100 passes in a game for example--and if they meet it, we'll reward them with a donation, say $10, to their charities.

We're asking parents to volunteer to cover these costs week to week. You set up an account on the Chimp Page, drop a few bucks in it and then let Assistant Manager Adam know when you are interested in covering the team goal for a week. It's all done through a secure site, and tax receipts are issued. If the kids earn their $10 for 100 passes in a game, for example, then you go to your Chimp page and transfer $10 from your account to this one (NSGSC U11 GMC United). Adam is available for tech support too--he's more than happy to walk you through it.

Pass the message along to family, friends and other potential sponsors, and at the end of the year the kids can take some real pride in having raised money for their worthy charity while developing as players and young women.

But it's not all about the money. You can also just add an encouraging note to the comments page.

In addition, we also invite you to challenge your kids to set their own personal metrics, in order to foster a love for the game, build skills and increase personal pride. As a parent, one example would be to challenge your daughter to break her ball juggling metric.

We encourage participation and most importantly to have fun. The ultimate goals is to have fun and keep our youth in sport.

If you have any questions or require "tech support" feel free to contact Adam through Team Snap.
