The Group's Purpose

On tuesday August 29th 2017, some amazing (and slightly crazy) Gould Lake Outdoor Centre staff will take off in a 25ft north canoe to paddle (and portage) 150km from the Kingston region to Ottawa non stop.
150km in 40hours or less! The paddle will take place through the Rideau canal world heritage site and finish at Parliament Hill.

Our goal this year is to raise $15,000!!

100% of donations raised via “Storm the Hill” will be directly used to send students to any and all Gould Lake Summer Programs! We will all get to see every single dollar being used and the huge impact it makes for these children!

Every single member of the paddle team completed Gould Lake programs as students or has worked at the outdoor centre as a staff member - we want every student who is interested in Gould Lake programs to be able to participate and have the same experience we did regardless of financial standings – “Storming the Hill” to raise money helps make that possible
