Ignite Your Giving this Fall

British Columbia has one of the highest poverty rates in the country, costing us billions of dollars in health care and lost productivity each year, and affecting the quality of life for thousands of our neighbours, friends, and family members.

With giving season on the horizon, we have an opportunity to support charities working to alleviate poverty in our communities.

That’s why we’re inviting you to start something big this fall with our first Ignite Giving campaign.

We’re supporting charities fighting poverty in our communities by amplifying their fundraising with sponsored matching funds.

All donations made through Chimp (up to $250 per donor) to participating BC-based charities working to alleviate poverty (including those in homelessness, mental health, and other related services), will be matched automatically by Bienfaisance Foundation of Canada, which empowers charities working to alleviate poverty, reduce homelessness and improve mental health with legal guidance and support.

Charities: whatever your plans for giving season, we want to help boost your reach and funds raised.

By participating in the Ignite Giving campaign, you’ll get:

• A customizable campaign page to promote your cause, accept donations, and rally supporters who wish to fundraise.
• Social fundraising pages (Giving Groups) to give your grassroots supporters the tools to fundraise on your behalf through their personal networks.
• Donation matching up to $250 per donor.
• Strategic and technical support from Chimp’s Client Success Team
